This week we had a class trip to Pentland which owns ellesse. It was a very exciting day as we were inside the Pentland group offices. The whole building is very creative, It was really nice inside, working in such an atmosphere is very aspiring. We have presented our agency to the ellesse team and I am very proud of us as a team as we did a great job presenting. Ellesse team also presented their campaign to us. In their presentation there was a lot of ideas that we have actually matched on this shows how aware our class is of the business and marketing. I have asked few questions to the creative directors of ellesse about the social media as I am in social media group and they were very helpful. After the visit I actually thought of applying for internship at Pentland as for me the working atmosphere the is very good.
Ellesse was very impressed of our presentation as our ides were really on brand and we have covered everything that is popular now in terms of promotion and advertising, like moving image, animation, gifs etc. For me personally Ellesse did not seem very collaborative as we have pointed out some good ideas in terms of our collaboration however they did not seem to respond to any of those. Hopefully we will figure something out and will be creating more and more creative work. I have been inspired by the visit and already have many ideas for our team.
